This importance of this course is to identifying the need for change and innovation in organizations, assessing change options, planning for change and finally implementing and managing change process through to successful outcomes. Important sub-topics we cover include: overcoming resistance to change; diagnosing organizational problems; being a change leader and equipping employees to work in changed environments. we shall seek to: 

     1.          Understand the major theories and perspectives concerning organization development and change.

     2.          Understand the role of the internal and external environment in driving or restraining change, as well as the importance of the political, cultural and technological contexts.
