This module provides the students with knowledge and skills to effectively manage adults with medical
or surgical conditions affecting the respiratory, cardiovascular, hematopoietic and gastrointestinal
systems. It will also equip the student with knowledge and skills for caring the surgical patients before,
during and after the surgical interventions. It covers the perioperative nursing care and Medical and
surgical Nursing care for patients with respiratory, cardiovascular, hematopoietic and gastrointestinal
health conditions.
