This course deals with jobs, people and the people’s behavior.  This course will help the student understand what Human Resource Management is, the role and nature of the Human Resource Management and the main functions: human resource planning, staffing, training, evaluation, compensation, labor relations, gaining a competitive advantage, the analysis and design of work, acquisition and preparation of human resources, assessment and development of Human Resource Management and compensation of human resource.  Emphasis is on how, strategically, people are acquired, trained and developed, retained and utilized in the organization.  It also includes the study of managers and worker’s behavior as well as how they understand each other in order to achieve the goals of the organization.
