The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the structure, composition of the earth ,the continental drift, the endogenic and exogenic processes of landform formation and landforms associated with those processes. By the end of this course, students should be able to explain the structure of the earth, its composition, internal and external landforms formation and landforms resulting from external processes(weathering) and how landscapes and landforms have been formed. They should also be able to apply theories learnt to local landscapes as well as regional and global landforms.
