Course Description

This course aims at equipping students with understanding of financial management aspects of business organizations with emphasis on the investment and financing decisions making. It includes relevant and essential analytical techniques needed to determine the appropriate sources, costs, and uses of funds for an optimum organization ‘management, especially, profit-making organizations. These techniques comprise the analysis of financial statements, the time value of money analysis, securities valuation, the determination and analysis of the cost of capital, analysis of capital budgeting techniques as well as other related notions.  The study of this course will involve lectures, exercises and evaluations all of which will be scheduled according to the University Program.
