This module enables the students to understand the basic laboratory sciences and techniques through the study of physiological effects of the micro- organisms, parasites and biochemical compounds to the functioning of the human body. It also explores the immunology and haematology as fundamental basis to understanding human health, and diseases. It covers the microbiology, parasitology, biochemistry, haematology and immunology.
